Though Hanks comes across as blandly as ever, at least his solid performance shows he's up to carrying half a movie on his own, and Zemeckis' direction is at first as busily efficient as the protagonist.

Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/29/24 Full Review julian s Genre: adventure / action Starring Tom HanksA great movie that should be seen several times with a great performance by Tom Hanks, great actor and loved by all the public with a very professional interpretation, Chuck noland is a businessman of a courier company called fedex, he has a girlfriend with whom he plans to marry and on a plane trip suffers an accident and is trapped on an island for 5 years, we know that human beings need social interaction to remain sane and in this film we see how the protagonist creates an imaginary friend who is Wilson, and with the same rope that was going to take his life, he builds a boat and is the one that allows him to return to society, the end is sad but very realistic, excellent story and film, I highly recommend it.
