Quick Reply Color Change | ProBoards Support (2025)

I have tried a couple of ways with no such luck in changing the BG color or posting area of the quick reply box. How would I go about doing this?

Hi M³,

To change the settings of the quick reply box, navigate to Themes > Colors & Styles, then with the visual editor navigate to Objects > Forms > Text Areas. The changes you make here will affect the quick reply box

I'm looking to achieve something similar to the image below. I'd like to round the corners of the banner, top and bottom .. to include, the nav menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, how would it be possible to achieve the glow all the way around the border of the forum like the example below?

I gave it a look for a bit, but I think it'll take me more time than the average coder to find what they did and present back to you in a way that would be usable for you. I'd recommend either trying to contact the owner of the forum for some tips, otherwise you may want to create a new topic in the template modification board and someone there should be able to provide some tips on that

CheatAreZee You've been a BIG HEP and quite patient .. actually, one last thing, If I may .. sorry, Ricky, lol .. .I did mess with the objects ... and was able to get the bg color change for the quick reply ... however, I found it more challenging to change the bg of the main posting area. I messed with what I believe was everything .. lol, and no such luck. Any suggestions? And you too, enjoy the game... GO 9ERS!

Modifying the backgrounds of the Visual / BBCode editor on the actual posting page should be pretty straight forward. Visit your admin panel, then again navigate to Themes > Colors & Styles. On the next page, navigate to Pages > Editors. From here, you can choose the Visual Editor or BBCode editor to modify the backgrounds of those. Just wanted to verify whether or not you already tried this route

Well, if the Vikings ever find a solid QB, that team could seriously be dangerous. I don't think Ponder or Webb are the answers, unfortunately. As for the verification of my earlier route-cade ...
